DELIVERANCE MINISTRY

The Bible calls healing and deliverance ‘the children’s bread’. We could define deliverance as being delivered into God’s loving care, safe from our enemies. The Word of God is very clear that Satan, the devil, is the true enemy of our souls. Yet Jesus appeared to destroy the works of this enemy. Satan and his demons operate within the unseen, spiritual realm. Where there is legal entry through sin, the demonic world set up a stronghold in the minds of men. But that’s not the end of the story!

As Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever, we can believe that Jesus can deliver us from all evil. A plain reading of the Gospels and the Book of Acts shows us that God’s ministry of healing and deliverance is normal and to be expected. It is a controversial topic due to the untrue things that people have come to believe about it. Of course, the devil would prefer that we do not talk about him or highlight the ways that his structures of power can be dismantled. Satan was defeated at the cross.
